Why Meditation ?

Meditation has been practised for thousands of years and countless people have benefited from it. In recent years a number of scientific studies have shown how meditation can be very effective in helping to reduce levels of stress and promoting an enhanced sense of well being. Many people also find it to be an effective remedy for insomnia.

To practice meditation you do not necessarily have to believe in any particular doctrine or follow any particular religion. Neither do you need to be able to sit cross - legged or practice yoga to benefit from it. All that's needed is a willingness to give it a go.
